ParseGo

ParseGo private beta

Terms of use

Effective [effective date]

Draft. The details in brackets are still to be filled in.

These terms are the agreement between you and [Your name] for using ParseGo. By using ParseGo you agree to them; if you don't, please don't use it.

The beta

ParseGo is in private beta. It's free and invite-only, and it's still being built: features may change, break or go away, and we may pause ParseGo or end the beta. We'll give notice before ending it where we reasonably can.

We provide ParseGo as it is and as available, without promising that it will always work, be free of errors or suit a particular trip.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account, and you must be 18 or over. Access is by invitation: we let some people in, and accepting someone's trip invite lets you in too. Keep your Google account secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account, for personal use rather than business.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts other people or ParseGo at risk, or when the beta ends.

AI and travel information can be wrong

ParseGo's plans, suggestions and answers come partly from AI models and partly from other services, such as maps, flight schedules and weather forecasts. They can be out of date, incomplete or simply wrong: about opening hours, prices, travel times, flight times, weather, entry and visa rules, safety or anything else. Check anything that matters with the place, airline or provider before you rely on it, and especially before you book or travel.

Weather forecasts come from Apple Weather. YOUR USE OF THIS REAL TIME WEATHER GUIDANCE APPLICATION OR WEBSITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. WEATHER DATA MAY NOT BE ACCURATE.

ParseGo doesn't book or sell travel. We're not a travel agent, and any booking you make is between you and the company you book with.

Your content

What you put into ParseGo stays yours: your trips, notes, saves, messages and the emails and links you send it. You let us store it, process it and send it to the services listed in our Privacy policy, only as needed to run ParseGo for you and keep it working. When you share a trip, the people you invite can see it, and editors can change it.

Only add content you have the right to use, and don't add other people's personal details unless they'd expect you to.

Fair use

Don't use ParseGo to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • harass, threaten or spam anyone, including through trip invites;
  • get around sign-in, invitations, rate limits or spending limits, or reach data that isn't yours;
  • disrupt or overload ParseGo, or collect from it automatically;
  • copy, resell or rebuild ParseGo; or
  • add content that is unlawful or hateful, or that infringes anyone's rights.

Each account has a daily limit on ParseGo's paid AI and map services. If you reach it, it resets the next day.

Other services

Maps, places, photos, flight data and weather come from other providers. Maps and place information come from Google: using them in ParseGo means you also agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for other websites that ParseGo links to.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

Apart from that, because ParseGo is a free beta: we aren't responsible for losses that come from relying on its plans or information (a missed flight, a closed restaurant or a booking you made, for example), for losses we couldn't have foreseen, or for business losses. Where we are responsible for a loss, our total liability to you is limited to £100.

Ending

You can stop using ParseGo at any time, and delete your data in Settings or by writing to us; the Privacy policy says what that removes. If we end your access or the beta, these terms stop applying, apart from the parts meant to last, such as the limits on liability.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ParseGo changes. The date at the top changes with them, and we'll tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using ParseGo after that, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. The Scottish courts can hear any dispute about them, but if you live elsewhere in the UK you can take it to your local courts instead.
